Sherry Stevens

Sherry Stevens is owner and primary midwife of New Life Midwifery Service in Meredith, New Hampshire. Her central New Hampshire location allows her to comfortably service New Hampshire clients to the North, South, East and West.

Sherry has fifteen years of home birth experience, beginning in 1988 as a birth assistant to Molly Connelly, one of New Hampshires most beloved traditional midwives. Sherry apprenticed under Molly and became a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) in 1996. In 2001 Sherry became a New Hampshire Certified Midwife(NHCM) and opened her office in Meredith. Midwifery students, birth assistants, and associate midwives work with Sherry to provide the best service possible to her clients.

She is married, has four children, two of whom were born at home.

Philosophy:

My midwifery practice is centered around providing the homebirth experience to women who choose it. Home is a safe, comfortable, natural place to birth. I will provide the care, comfort, support and encouragement as well as knowledge, information, and skills to safely facilitate your home birth.
