Anahata Midwifery is love, compassion and committment from the heart, servicing
women and their families in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. I am a nationally
certified midwife with licensure in New Hampshire. I believe that birth is a
natural, normal and blessed event. Chosing a home birth is a safe and powerful
choice that every women has the right to make. I am committed to my role as an
educator and empowerer of women and their families in their decision making process
and birth experience. I support and respect choice, individuality, integrity,
honesty, humility, spirit, love and the power of the human body. Midwifery means
trust; trust of myself and my skills, knowledge, intuition, limitations and thought
processes. Midwifery means trust in women to come to know themselves better and
honor the self that consciously chooses a home birth.
