Birthwise
Midwifery Service provides home birth services as well as births at The Birth
House, a freestanding birth center in Bridgton, Maine. Our service area reaches
into New Hampshire in the Conway, Jackson, Madison, and Tamworth areas, as well
as serving the Western and Southern Maine region. Heidi Fillmore-Patrick, CPM,
NHCM shares the practice with AnnMarie RianWanzeck, CPM and Robin Doolittle,
CPM. Heidi has been attending home births for 20 years in Maine. Robin joined
the practice in 2005, and AnnMarie has recently joined The Birth House.
We offer comprehensive and holistic prenatal care, home birth, water birth, postpartum care, well-women care, natural childbirth preparation classes, prenatal yoga, a new mothers' group, and doula training, as well as other classes for pregnant women and their families. Open houses at The Birth House happen on the first Thursday of each month from 6-7pm.
