Annique Sampson, CPM, LM, NHCM
I have been honored to support hundreds of new and expectant parents as a Midwife, Doula and Birthing From Within mentor since 2003. I bring you experience supporting families in birth in a diversity of settings - home, hospital and birth center - across the U.S. and in the Philippines.
I am nationally certified by the North American Registry of Midwives, and am licensed to practice midwifery in Vermont and New Hampshire. I offer homebirth in both states and birth center midwifery services at the Monadnock Birth Center.
To me, midwifery is both an art and a science, a career and a calling. It is an amazing privilege to accompany families through pregnancy, birth and early parenting. My goal as a midwife is to help you make choices about your body and your baby that make sense for you, and to use my heart, hands and head to help make your birth experience safe and satisfying.
As a midwife and mentor, I am here to witness and support your "birth" into parenthood. In addition to midwifery care, I offer Birthing From Within childbirth classes. The classes offer information and practical tools while affirming your unique strengths and innate abilities to give birth and parent.
My work is also enriched by my pregnancy and motherhood journey. My son Samuel was born in 2008 and I understand the hard work of labor and the tenderness of new parenthood. While my experiences are my own, I draw upon the universal aspects of this journey to help you on yours.
When I am not busy attending births or teaching prenatal classes, I enjoy gardening, photography & poetry, and spending time with my amazing family.
